Waiting Children

11-year-old Tayana is an aspiring singer, songwriter, and artist. She has an art gallery of songs she has written and drawings she is working on, which she loves to show off. Get her talking about her passions and she won’t stop. She might even ask you, “am I talking too much?”.

Hasean is a friendly, observant and affectionate ten-year-old boy. He has a great sense of humor and loves to be entertained. Hasean is very independent. He enjoys playing video games on his tablet, and he recently got an Xbox. Hasean likes to watch tv shows like Curious George, Bluey, and PBS Kids.

Ishiah is a spunky 10-year-old full of energy. Ishiah is a star student and loves to hang out with other kids. He also loves going to the zoo to see all the animals. Ishiah would benefit from a family that would be involved in sports with him.

Thirteen-year-old Carter is a kind young man, with great manners, who has many interests and talents to share with his future family! When walking around the store with Carter, he will walk aisle to aisle talking about all this things he loves. Carter is a budding magician, learning how to do magic tricks that will leave others impressed!

Sa’Doree is an energetic and endearing 16 year-old girl. Sa’Doree is the definition of outgoing – she is friendly, talkative, and is known to be a social butterfly who is busy making plans to hang out with her friends. Sa’Doree loves to stay busy by going shopping, getting her nails done, and hanging out with her best friends on weekends and after school.

Alexander is a sweet boy who spends most of his time on his tablet and eating hot Cheetos, he has an infectious laugh and gives the best high fives. Although Alexander is non-verbal, he communicates his needs through a speech device and is currently learning sign language to better communicate with others.

X’Clusive is known to be a kind and respectful child to those around him, X’Clusive loves all things sports and is a remarkable student. He loves to talk about his interests and will make sure to educate you on his favorite basketball players and talk about his favorite books.

Bailey loves to do crafts, listen to Shawn Mendes, and hang out with friends. Bailey is a very smiley young lady. She has a big heart and really wants to be adopted. Bailey loves knowing all of the gossip going on in the celebrity world. She loves learning and absolutely loves school.

Jasmine is sweet, kind, and fun. She is great with new people and loves to talk. One of her favorite things to do is to be outside and ride bikes. Jasmine is learning boundaries and continuing to work on her speech. She needs a family who can help redirect and practice patience.

Kris is very charismatic and charming. He loves football, listening to music, writing, and spending time with his brother. Kris is easy-going and enjoys making the people around him laugh. Kris would benefit from a family that is local and willing to maintain contact with his younger half-brother.

Angel is a very caring, outgoing, and loveable 13-year-old girl who loves to spend time outside with animals and other children. Briella is a very sweet, trusting and outgoing 8-year-old girl who loves to spend time with her sisters and foster mom. Serenity is a spunky, loving 8-year old girl. She loves hanging out with her siblings and the adults that are close in her life.

Nevaeh is a 16-year-old Caucasian female. Nevaeh enjoys doing hair and eye lashes. She loves all things fashion and likes to stay current with fashion trends. Nevaeh is money motivated and working with independent living to gain life skills.

William is kind, funny and helpful. He enjoys playing outside with his friends, riding his bike, and swimming. He also enjoys playing sports and video games. He has been on a hockey team and baseball team in the past.

Gable is a smart child who loves to play video games and participate in family activities. He does struggle with his emotions and anger. Gable’s team is still working with him to develop coping skills and ways to manage his anger.

Tony is a bright young man who loves to play sports and stay active. He does struggle with marijuana use and making good choices.

Manny is an intelligent young man who loves to be outdoors and be around his friends. He struggles with marijuana use and not making good choices.

She enjoys listening to music, feeling her hair on her back and face, being in the pool, sensory toys, and going to school. She is one who can entertain herself for hours but also enjoys listening in on a good conversation.

Rayne is part of a sibling group with her little brother Skyler. She is happy and easygoing. She enjoys school and her favorite subjects are math and reading. Rayne likes to collect stuffed animals and watch kids Youtube. Skyler is in the 5th grade and enjoys school. He enjoys the long breaks he gets from school and his favorite subject is math.

Russell is a fun guy. He loves dancing to oldies. He enjoys really spicy food. He tells some great jokes and loves to make people laugh. Russell is very loving and is known for great bear hugs. He does have a speech delay that makes him hard to understand at times, especially when he is excited.

Payton is an easy going girl. She thrives with a schedule. She enjoys cleaning up after herself (and others) and making sure that everything is put in place. Payton has an infectious laugh and smile that brightens up the room.

Savannah is bright, spunky, and just wants to be a teen. She loves to be adventurous both in the real world, through writing short stories and reading books. She likes Minecraft and Legos. She has a big imagination and loves art and music and hopes to build her skills with the viola!

Jada is a sarcastic and spunky girl. It can take her time to warm up to new people. She loves to play games such as Uno, likes arts and crafts like stickers and coloring, and likes to build with legos. Jada needs a family with experience in trauma training and/or training in PTSD. She also needs a loving family who can handle her wit.

Honesty enjoys talking with people, cooking, and spending money. Honesty is a hard worker. Honesty loves animal. Honesty is creative and pushes herself to achieve her goals. The key to building a relationship with Honesty is food.

Penny is a sweet and kind young lady. She loves anything girly, including getting her nails done and doing her hair. Penny enjoys spending time with her therapy horse and swimming when the weather is right. She loves cats and music

A’Laya has experienced much neglect and has overcome a lot of trauma in her life. She previously had accidents at bed time and would wear pullups and take care of the accidents herself, including bedding, at her previous placement.

Nevaeh may need more one-on-one attention than a typical child. She may struggle in a home with multiple children. Nevaeh will need continued therapeutic and psych services to manage mental health concerns.

Dominik (DK) said he’d like to be in a home with a mom and a dad, and either no siblings or perhaps younger siblings.

Tori is outgoing and loves talking to others. She enjoys helping her teachers and classmates. Tori loves animals! In fact, Tori has participated in equine therapy and loves to brush and ride horses. Tori loves all kinds of music, but especially old school R&B like Nelly and Shaggy.

Robert is a sweet and fun 11th grader. Robert loves to help out with peers and adults at his group home, such as cooking and cleaning. Robert loves fantasy games and stories such as Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, and Voltron.

Jacob is very sweet and friendly. He loves instrumental rap music and spends a lot of his time listening to his favorite songs through his headphones. Jacob’s all time favorite meal to enjoy is spaghetti and meatballs.
