Norton Family

Meet Lathan and Jay Norton! They  have been together for 10 years and married for 9 years. They greatly enjoy spending time together. Anything from games, movies, long walks, to any kind of project around the house or store. They own a 9,000 square foot department store called The Hen House in Spencer, IA. They live in a downtown area and have a great local school system. There are many activities in the community for young kids. Both Jay and Lathan have many nieces and nephews that they have spent time with. They also were foster parents to many LGBTQ+ teens in the past few years. They have many close friends that have children and can look to for help and advice. They have wanted children for many years and now they feel that the time is right. They look forward to sharing their love with a child.

Lathan and Jay are willing to consider 1-2 children, male or female, Asian, Caucasian, or Hispanic, between the ages of 2 and 10 with any of the following special needs:

ADD, ADHD, Asthma, Depression, Drug Exposed, Eating disorders, Emotional-Mild,  Hyperactivity, Learning Disability, and Mood Disorder.
