Deemer Family

Meet Michelle and Hans Deemer! Michelle works as a pre-employment specialist and Hans is a Project Manager Engineer. Together they have raised thirteen adult children and have four children at home. Eight of their children entered their family through adoption! They reside on a beautiful ranch in Palmer, Alaska, complete with horses, ATVs, a pet pig, and a pet cow. They have a lot of land and space to raise their children!

Michelle and Hans have flexible enough schedules that they are able to work from home whenever they want. This means they are able to be very active in their children’s lives. Michelle’s mom lives right across the street and the children frequent her house to swim in her indoor pool! She has been a big support to Michelle and Hans’ growing family.

Both Michelle and Hans have worked in special education in the past, and they feel they would be excellent advocates for any needs or challenges their children may have. They truly believe that their children will have unconditional love, great experiences, and a family that could advocate for all of their needs and healing. They are so excited to grow their family again through adoption! Any child would be welcomed into their home with loving arms and many siblings to play with!

Michelle and Hans are willing to consider a large sibling group, female or male, any race, between the ages of 0 and 17 with any of the following special needs:

ADD, ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Asthma, Autism, Bi-Polar, Cerebral Palsy/Mild, Deaf, Depression, Developmental Delays, Diabetes, Down Syndrome, Drug Exposed, Eating Disorders, Emotional Mild/Moderate, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Heart Murmur, Learning Disability, Legal Risk, Mental Retardation Mild/Moderate, Missing Limbs, Mood Disorder, Physically Abused, PTSD, RAD, Seizures, Sexually Abused, or Tourette Syndrome.
