Alexius “Lexi”

16 years old

“I want a family who has pets, is very active, likes sports, is outgoing, and where I am the only child.”  Lexi Beginning to find your independence is a big deal for a teenager. In the past couple of years Lexi has done just that.

The feeling of accomplishment that comes with passing Driver’s Ed is incomparable. Lexi has recently earned hers, and is almost ready for the responsibility of being out on the road. What goes better with a driver’s license than your first job? Lexi knows that feeling of accomplishment, as well. She currently works in a restaurant and is learning a lot about responsibility through the accountability of employment. In addition to her restaurant job, Lexi finds fulfillment in babysitting, where she loves being a role model to younger kids. (She’s great with them!) Lexi is an outgoing and loving girl. She is very into watching and playing sports, hanging out with her friends, and cultivating her interests. She loves to play basketball and softball and is a huge fan of football. Lexi even had the chance to meet one of her favorite professional football players last year! The Seattle Seahawk surprised her with a basket of goodies, including tickets to the Justin Bieber concert. That was a particularly memorable birthday for Lexi.

Lexi does well in school and is looking forward to going to college. She is currently working on her reading skills and comprehension, both in school and with her current caregivers, who are educators. Lexi is well-rounded and focused as she heads into her last couple of years in high school.

Lexi will thrive with a family that can appreciate her ability to contribute to the household. Lexi would prefer to be an only child or in a family with adult siblings. Lexi would love to be adopted, and is also highly invested in the process of helping to find her adoptive family. If you are an active, outgoing family who loves sports and has pets, please reach out to us. We’d love to find Lexi the adoptive family she deserves.
