Cansas has been described as timid, friendly, easy to get along with, dependent, stubborn, active, and sweet. She is beautiful girl with a lot of love to give.

She wanted to make sure that her adoptive family knows she loves to read, thrift, and do crafts. Cansas has expressed it is very important that her family keep her safe. She is hopeful her adoptive family will allow her to continue her Christian faith and get her involved in church and church activities.

Cansas participated in choir this past year and is looking forward to being in the school choir again next year. Cansas is working on trying to new things to gain confidence and strength. She is looking forward to swimming this summer, walking places independently, helping out at the library and preschool Sunday school at church, and trying yoga and basketball. Cansas also enjoys school is eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions.

A family for Cansas should be knowledgeable of childhood trauma and the impacts of trauma. Cansas will need a family willing to advocate for any services that are needed. The right family for Cansas will be understanding that she may need time to feel safe in her new home and take sometime to open up.
