Bryan is a happy child who enjoys routine. He likes to play and enjoys many different toys. Bryan enjoys bouncing a large ball and playing with toys that make noise. His current caregiver notes, “Bryan is a very sweet young teen!” Bryan has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Autism. At this time, he is unable to verbally communicate. However, Bryan is learning to use pictures and signing to interact with others. He does best with a consistent and structured daily routine. Bryan wears leg braces to aid his mobility. Bryan is in need of an adoptive family who has had experience working with or parenting children with Cerebral Palsy and Autism. The family must provide Bryan with a loving and patient home environment as he works towards achieving his fullest potential. Bryan responds well to direction and will need continuous prompting from a family to complete tasks. Bryan would benefit from having a family who has experience with children who are learning to communicate verbally via sign language. Bryan has a strong familial bond with his paternal grandmother and his older brother and those relationships should be fostered with an adoptive family.
