Mathew is outgoing and cheerful having positive relationships with caregivers and his friends. He enjoys engaging in conversations sharing his thoughts respectfully. He is very proud of his basketball and drawing skills. He has many hobbies including video games, reading, going outside with friends. When Mathew becomes overwhelmed open conversations, reflections and identification of better responses are very helpful. Mathew is insightful and many times has the ability to remain in control of his behaviors which has made Mathew a confident role model for others in the house. Mathew does his best class work in a small groups however is mainstreamed in school. Mathew would do best with a family that could provide him with patience, structure, and understanding.
