Devin’s first love is playing football; he also likes fishing, playing video games, and watching TV. Devin enjoys being the center of attention and will seek attention. He gets along with peers especially those his age or older. At times, Devin needs encouragement to follow rules and complete daily chores. Foster parents report that he needs guidance on how to connect with others in a positive manner. As a student, Devin gets along with all his classmates and teachers but needs guidance with redirection and consequences. Devin’s favorite class is Art. His medium of preference is using charcoal pencils to sketch and he is very talented. Devin requires additional educational services to ensure he reaches his potential at school. Devin needs a family with parenting experience, and enjoys outdoor activities, going to art shows and festivals. His family will be an advocate for him within the school system so that Devin can meet his full educational potential. The family must be highly structured with strict boundaries and offer consistent consequences. Devin will continue to progress with continued supportive services. He will respond well to a father figure who will accompany Devin to various art activities. Devin needs a family who is very committed to him and will stand by him.
