16 Years

Shymaar is the kind of young lady who likes to try new things, meet new people, and take part in memorable adventures. She is proud of who she is as a person and hopes to extend her positivity to the people around her. Of her long list of things she loves, here are a few:

  • Swimming
  • Camping
  • Going for walks
  • Spending time at the ocean
  • The beach
  • Trying new restaurants
  • Cooking, but not baking
  • Watching movies, mostly scary and funny ones
  • Playing Minecraft
  • The thrill of a rollercoaster

Shymaar continues to do well in school and absolutely loves to read. She enjoys being busy and is drawn to the hustle and bustle of life. Shymaar is ready to be a part of a family. Her ideal home life would include the kind of family who spends time together, getting outside and doing lots of activities. She really would like to belong to a home where people take the concept of family seriously – who enjoy branching out with new food and fun new games. A brother or sister would be a great addition to Shymaar’s life, though she is perfectly comfortable being the only child as well. Shymaar has spent a lot of time thinking about her future adoptive family. She is the kind of teen who knows what she wants, and we really want to help her find it.

Shymaar is an open-minded, inclusive person, and likes to surround herself with people who are also compassionate and loving. Shymaar is a leader who influences people on a regular basis. Currently, she teaches preschoolers; a step toward her interest in early childhood education.

Though there are many, many things that Shymaar enjoys in life, she is always looking for the next exciting thing. One thing she has never done that she would love to experience is a road trip. If you are a family who is interested in joining Shymaar on the journey of her life, please let us know. We would love to find Shymaar the right adoptive family.

Road trip, anyone?
