Sweet, affectionate and energetic are words used to describe Micay’a. She is a sweet girl who loves sweets, especially the candy, Skittles. She is affectionate and social, she likes to assist and care for younger children. One of Micay’a's favorite activities is playing with her friends and their baby dolls. Micay’a's energy is evident in her participation and love of African and Jazz Dance classes. Her aspirations include dance and yoga. In the classroom she is described as a bright, enthusiastic and spirited learner, who requires verbal praise and assistance as she does not respond well to challenging tasks. Micay’a likes reading and math but dislikes writing assignments. She wants a family who would help her a lot with her homework. Micay’a has a long standing fear of dogs, so a family without a dog would be best for her. Micay’a will also need a family who understands the complexities of her emotions and behaviors as it can be uncomfortable for Micay’a to be cared for, she wants attention but will push people away. However a trusting relationship can be built when a family is not deterred by this behavior.
