This lovely young lady is a person who has struggled with disappointment and is in the process of rebuilding trust with the world around her. She loves to play basketball, volleyball, and goes horse back riding. She loves school and loves interacting with other young girls her age. In the past Shirley has made student of the Year at her middle School. Shirley can be friendly, polite, and will really try to put her best effort forward. Positive self esteem is a struggle for Shirley and she needs someone to help her think more positively about herself. Shirley just started high school this year and she is enjoying it very much. Shirley stated that she wants to be a role model for other girls who have gone through the same situations as herself. Unfortunately some of those situations include abandonment, and neglect. Shirley loves ice cream, and reading. Shirley also loves volunteering at the library. Shirley needs someone who can give her constant love and attention. Shirley also needs a person who can be very patient. Shirley is in need of a family that will show her their unwavering commitment to be in her life forever.
