Jeremy is a young man who is still a kid at heart; he can be funny, motivated, and thoughtful. He is young man who takes great care of himself. Jeremy is observant and appreciates the random beauty that can be found anywhere, but especially enjoys the beauty he finds when exploring nature. He loves to read! A family that could encourage his love of books would be wonderful for Jeremy. He can be respectful, tolerant, and open-minded. He is passionate about the things that are important to him.
Jeramy is making great progress in developing the tools and strategies to help him navigate his feelings and emotions, particularly in complex social situations. One of those strategies is to take timeouts to calm himself when he’s feeling overwhelmed. He then comes back to talk things over, reflecting and identifying what may have caused him to feel overwhelmed and frustrated. These steps often help him better understand the situation and allow him to regain self-control.
Jeramy is currently enrolled in school and is looking forward to continuing his high school education. In school his love of reading is a wonderful academic strength.
If you are parent(s) that would welcome this open-minded, thoughtful teen (who is still a kid at heart!) into your family, and provide him with good-humored, supportive, and nurturing guidance and mentoring, Jeramy’s social worker would like to have the opportunity to talk with you.
If you are interested in providing nurturing and love for Jeremy or for any other Special Needs Children, please call our office for further information.
