James is a friendly and charming young man. He loves to be right in the midst of what’s going on and enjoys entertaining others with dancing, singing, and humor. James loves basketball, hip hop, and is a HUGE Seahawks fan. He collects lots of Seahawks memorabilia. An adoptive family that could share in James’s enthusiasm for his favorite team would be thrilling for him. James also enjoys drawing and coloring and playing video games, and listening to music. Other favorite activities are gardening, cleaning, and hanging out with other kids. He is looking forward to sharing his many interests with his new family.

James likes to help others! He readily helps out around the house, and, as James typically likes to be organized he enjoys keeping his room in top shape. Positive parenting skills, such as praise, encouragement, and lots of attaboys are wonderful ways to motivate him. A structured daily routine with simple, clear rules and limits helps him to be his best. James likes to socialize with others and being part of a supportive group.

Now in 10th grade, James enjoys school! He has made progress in tough subjects like reading and writing and has made great strides with his social skills. Individual and small group learning experiences are great ways for James to learn new skills.

James’s social worker would like to hear from nurturing, patient, encouraging couples, single moms and single dads with lots of love to share. An adoptive family who will see that James has the resources in place to help him realize his potential would be wonderful. James would thrive with older brothers, or as the only child. James will need a devoted family that can offer him lifelong support and advocacy. If your family would welcome the opportunity to grow with James, we want to hear from you soon!
