Meet this young man who is also a hearty eater. He eats everything you put in front of him and often wants more. Jawanza is a young teen who is in need of special education services. Jawanza is mostly non verbal although he can imitate some sounds and words. Jawanza needs 24 hour supervision and does well in a structured environment. Jawanza is very active and constantly in motion. He likes to watch television and dance with other children. Jawanza needs assistance and help with learning better social skills. Jawanza is making progress with using picture symbols to express his wants and needs. Jawanza will not be able to live independently after 18. Jawanza is a child who needs a forever family that will display affection and love, as well as structure and constant supervision.
