Nathan has several ideas about what he would like to have in his forever family. A mom and dad, maybe a brother or sister, and definitely a couple pets (especially a snake if possible)! He’d also really like to stay in contact with his maternal grandmother and hopes that his new family would support that. It’s best to keep Nathan busy. He loves sports, especially basketball, and likes to play board games and build complicated creations out of Lego’s. But, he’ll try almost anything if it means getting some individual attention from someone. He could use a family who will ask gentle questions in a calm manner and would like a family who will listen quietly when he talks about his feelings and his past. Patience is a necessary skill for the family adopting Nathan. He wants to please and make good decisions, but needs guidance and support in learning to express his feelings and thoughts in a safe manner.
