Austin will draw you in with his effortless smile. He is described as having a bubbly personality and being laid back at times. He is talkative, engaging, and really likes to interact with others. He thrives with one on one attention and seeks the approval of others. He responds well to praise and rewards such as a smile, “good job”, or a pat on the back. Austin enjoys playing games and his favorites include air hockey, pinball, and pool. Being outside ranks high in Austin’s priorities and he enjoys the game of football. Austin also likes going on road trips and you can be assured that he will help keep you on the right track. He also likes eating so be prepared to stop at the nearest restaurant for pizza and/or a cheeseburger. Austin will need additional assistance with his school work in order to reach his full potential. He enjoys participating in music, physical education, and computers. Austin thrives in a structured, consistent, and familiar environment due to him finding comfort in routines and familiar surroundings. He can get physically and verbally engaged so he needs guidance and close parenting. Austin is a curious child who enjoys experiencing new things and learning and needs activities that feed his appetite for life, especially “family life”. Austin needs a family who can appreciate his positive qualities and have realistic expectations. His family will need to be patient, be able to closely monitor his high energy and provide close supervision at all times. Austin will also require a family that will be a strong advocate for him at school in order to ensure that all of his educational needs are met.
