Richard (42) is a Business Developer, and Heather (42) is a Pharmaceutical Team Leader. Richard and Heather are a young 40 yr old couple that love to spend time with family, friends, and their pets. Together they enjoy traveling, reading, and going out to dinner. Heather has 7 yrs experience as a counselor for children and adolescents in a psychiatric hospital and residential settings. She has her Masters in Science and in Psychology. Currently Heather works at home full-time as a team lead and has flexibility with her work schedule. Richard works 8-4 and is home by 5 everyday. Rich’s mother was adopted by her aunt when she was 10 yrs old and additionally Richard’s Uncle adopted two teenagers from foster care. They are open to family counseling when a child is placed (besides individual child counseling) and are familiar with local therapists that specialize in adoption. They are interested in one little girl to love, guide, and parent. Richard and Heather chose older child adoption partly because of their age and Heather’s past experience with children.
Richard and Heather would like to adopt one, female child, of Caucasian, Hispanic and Native American descent, between the ages of 10 to 16. They feel capable of accepting the following conditions:
