Genean is a Nurse and has an adopted daughter named Jada (3). She has a lot of experience working in homecare for medically fragile infants and children. She has also worked at a facility that provides care to children and young adults, ages 5 years to 22 years that are developmentally challenged from mild to severe. In her spare time she loves to listen to classical music. Genean used to play the violin and the piano, and has had private singing lessons. She loves operas/musicals, plays and theater. Genean also enjoys watching a good comedy movie or drama movie on a rainy day, reading books, and to work puzzles or anything that challenges her mind. She loves to travel, however, every now and then just staying home and watching a good movie or ordering pizza, inviting friends over and playing card games is also a lot of fun. Genean values education, spirituality, and exposure to different cultures by traveling. Genean has a large group of family members, friends, co-workers, spiritual brothers and sisters, and community that serves as a strong support system. Genean believes no matter the age, it’s never too late to give a child the gift of a family.
Genean would like to adopt up to three, either gender, of any race, between the ages of 0-18. She feels capable of accepting the following conditions:
