Adoptive Parent Support Group

The Third Saturday of Every Month
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Toledo, Ohio

On the third Saturday of every month a group of adoptive parents come together to provide support for each other and discuss issues of adoption. Each meeting focuses on the many challenges of special needs adoption and guest speakers are invited to provide additional information and resources for parents.

Refreshments and a supervised play area are provided. For additional information or to RSVP for the meetings, contact Robin Jacob at 1-800-246-1731



Family Resource Centers

Adopt America Network employees and contractors maintain compliance with the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978, 25 U.S.C.A. 1901, et seq.  The Multiethnic Placement Act of 1994 as amended by Section 1808 of the Small Business Job Protection Act of 1996, 42 U.S.C. 622(b)(9), 671(a)(18), 674(d) and 1996(b) (hereinafter "MEPA") and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. 2000d, et seq., as they apply to the adoption process (hereinafter "Title VI"), do not supercede the provisions of the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978.
