Myeisha is a sweet, shy girl who takes her time to warm up to others. She likes to ride her bike, go swimming, play at the park, play video games and work on the computer. Myeisha responds well to praise for positive behavior. She will resist going to bed at her regular bedtime, but sleeps soundly and likes to sleep late in the morning. Myeisha is sometimes a picky eater, however, she likes all kinds of meats, like steak, barbecue meat of any kind, ribs and chicken. She also likes salad and only a few vegetables. She loves chicken nuggets, and sandwiches. Myeisha has been diagnosed with ADD. Janiece is a very smart girl who is able to read people well and locate their weaknesses. She gets along well with her sister and foster sister. Janiece loves to listen to music, play with her dolls and joke around. She is a friendly and cheerful child, who makes friends easily. She has a talent for quick comebacks and can be feisty. She is truthful and has no problem expressing her thoughts. Janiece tries hard to be independent, despite her impairments. She needs daily assistance from her care provider in order to have her needs met. Janiece has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, developmental delays, a learning disability, mild mental retardation and a speech disorder. Myeisha and Janiece would do best in any type of home as long as the parent(s) are willing to participate in an extensive transitional treatment plan prior to placement. They will need a committed and willing family who are able to address their special physical and medical needs.
