Meet Paul! He is an adorable seven year old boy. At a very young age, Paul suffered a traumatic brain injury which impairs his sight, hearing and has resulted in global developmental delays. Paul is totally dependent on others to care for him and uses a wheelchair for mobility. Although Paul is non-verbal, he responds to touch and sound. He smiles to show when he likes something and cries to communicate his displeasure. Paul seems to enjoy hand over hand activities and will briefly hold objects in his hand. Although Paul currently lives in a residential skilled nursing facility, he deserves a forever family! However, a trained person is needed to provide round the clock care due to the potential for obstruction in his tracheotomy tube and seizure disorder. He also suffers from Shaken Baby Syndrome, Severe CP, and total care. All families will be considered for Paul. Paul needs a family that will be able to lovingly commit themselves on a long term basis to his care.
