Dylan is an affectionate, sweet, endearing little boy, who loves to cuddle and to be held close. He enjoys adult attention and having people around. Dylan responds to words and touch with a smile. He does not have the full use of language skills. Dylan is medically fragile, with multiple physical and cognitive limitations. Placement in a medical therapeutic home and enrollment in the Early Intervention Program has enabled Dylan to make great strides. He receives physical, developmental, feeding, and occupational therapies, and is showing some progress with motor skills and social interaction. Dylan has been diagnosed with DD, severe MR and is non-ambulatory. He requires assistance with all activities of daily living. He requires full support to stand, and uses a stander and a wheelchair for mobility. A loving, committed family who is able to advocate for long-term medical, physical and educational needs will be ideal for Dylan.
